Mobile Setup

Claim Atlas is a progressive web app (PWA) — it looks and feels like a native app on your phone without downloading anything from the App Store or Google Play. Here's how to set it up.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  1. Open Safari and go to your Claim Atlas URL (e.g., acme-adjusting.claim-atlas.net)
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up)
  4. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
  5. Tap Add in the upper right

Claim Atlas now appears as an icon on your home screen. Tapping it opens the app in full-screen mode without Safari's address bar — just like a native app.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open Chrome and go to your Claim Atlas URL
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right
  4. Tap Add to Home screen (or Install app if Chrome shows that option)
  5. Tap Add

Why not a native app?

PWAs have several advantages for a tool like Claim Atlas:

  • Always up to date — you always get the latest version without waiting for app store reviews or manual updates
  • Works on any device — same experience on iPhone, Android, tablet, laptop, and desktop
  • No storage overhead — doesn't take up space on your phone like a traditional app
  • Instant access — no download or installation wait time

Offline capabilities

Claim Atlas requires an internet connection to sync data. When you're in the field with spotty reception, the app will queue your actions and sync them when connectivity returns. For best results, make sure you have at least a basic cellular signal.

Tip

Pin your most active claims to the top of the dashboard for quick access when you're on-site. The mobile layout is optimized for one-handed use — the most common actions (add note, upload photo, check reminders) are all within thumb reach.
