Reminders & SLA Milestones
Independent adjusters juggle dozens of claims with overlapping deadlines. Reminders and SLA milestones make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Reminders
Set a reminder on any claim from the claim detail page. Each reminder has:
- Text — what you need to do (e.g., "Follow up with insured on repair estimate")
- Date — when it's due
- Time — defaults to 9:00 AM
Upcoming reminders appear on the dashboard so you see them first thing when you log in. Mark a reminder complete when you've handled it.
SLA milestones
Some carriers require specific actions within set timeframes — initial contact within 24 hours, inspection within 3 days, report within 14 days, etc. SLA milestones let you track these deadlines per claim.
If your carrier has standard SLA requirements, you can set up SLA templates on the insurer record. When you create a new claim for that carrier, the milestones are automatically copied to the claim with deadlines calculated from the date opened.
Check off milestones as you complete them. The claim detail page shows which milestones are done, which are upcoming, and which are overdue.
Dashboard overview
The main dashboard highlights claims with overdue reminders or missed SLA milestones so you can prioritize the most time-sensitive work first.
